The SolvisMax is a modularly expandable system. It is a boiler and heat storage tank in one, as well as being the basis of any system based on solar collectors. It can be expanded with a gas or an oil burner, and/or be heated with a pellet/wood stove. The SolvisMax's purpose is to heat domestic hot water while also operating a central heating system. The heart of the system is the 3-level storage tank. Cooled water flows from the heating system into the lowest level, where it is heated and then rises. Warm water collects in the middle level at the pre-run temperature for heating. The only really hot spot in the system is in the upper level where a heat exchanger which heats drinking water is connected. The heat exchanger keeps the drinking water separated from the water in the storage tank and heats it directly while it is passing through. You get as much hot water as you want, at exactly the temperature that you want. This means that the water that flows from the tap has been freshly heated. The food grade water quality also increases the pleasure of showers and baths.
The Pur models have no integrated heat exchanger, a connection for collectors can be added and they are for use with SolvisFera Standard and SolvisCala Standard. The conventional models are for use with SolvisFera Integral, SolvisCala Integral and SolvisLuna.
