Restaurant - Ilha Deserta, Faro

Project description

The restaurant is powered by a three-phase autonomous system supported by a diesel generator. Already in 2007 the first cluster was composed of three Sunny Island stand-alone inverters with a total rated output of 15 kVA and a PV generator of 4,08 kWp.

In 2012 another set of three Sunny Island stand-alone inverters was installed. Each set of Sunny Island inverters is connected to a 48 V battery with a capacity of 4700 Ah/100h. At the same time the installed PV power was increased to 12.72 kWp.

In March 2016 another 54 monocrystalline PV panels of SolarWorld brand SW 290 were installed on the different roofs of the restaurant. Now the solar proportion will increased to 90% annually.

Currently, the system has a nominal power of 30 kVA and an installed PV power of 28.38 kWp.
